Our Wind Motorised Vehicle

Our Wind Motorised Vehicle

This week we have been making a wind motorised vehicle.

We watched videos on car making using wind.

Another video we watched was on how to make a simple rubber band powered car using plastic bottles. We wrote a procedure on how to make a wind motorised vehicle.

Our reading task
We had to read about an interesting and fun project that captures the power of wind and uses it to propel a vehicle. Wind powered cars are a very clever idea and are different from sail cars. They travel in any direction. We then summarised the video.

For maths we learnt to split numbers by sharing different amounts equally. The video used animations which simplified our learning. It was a good introduction in learning how to divide.

Here are some photos of our creations.
