DMIC - Maths

Developing Mathematical Inquiry Communities (DMIC)

We love our DMIC maths session. Our teacher divided us into 2 groups: girls and boys. She works with us on alternate days. We have been solving subtraction problems using 2 digit numbers. In order to be successful we need to: Be active listeners, ask questions, be a driver for our learning and not a passenger (that means that we need to be in charge of our learning), use talk moves (that revoice, repeat, reason and add on), work collaboratively as a team. Our next step is to move onto 3 digit numbers.
