Library Visit

Library Visit

In week 5 we did our first library visit. We had to walk to the Clendon Community Library. It was long and tiring. 

When we reached our destination, we had some morning tea. Then we went into the library. 









We then chilled out in the court yard, read our books and ate some snacks.



Thank you to our awesome parent helper. Our trip wouldn't be possible without you.



Whaea Jamie-Lee was our librarian. She spoke to us about the rules of the library. 









Unfortunately, quite a few of us lot our library cards from last year. She advised us that we could get another one by bringing our parents along and paying $2. Can't wait for our next visit in week 9.

    I bet the children enjoyed this learning opportunity outside of their school environment.

    Yes they did. The walk was long and tiring. They enjoyed walking and chatting with their mates.
